Traci Boutilier, BSc. – CEO
Traci is the owner and CEO at Avive Naturals. She believes optimum health and wellness begins with the individual. She is dedicated to providing health care practitioners the opportunity to create safe, premium quality natural health products that are carefully formulated with the individual in mind.
Traci grew up in Nova Scotia where she attended Cape Breton University and obtained a 4-year Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Biology. Traci has worked in various industries including environmental, chemical, computer and natural health.
Traci has over 10 years of experience employed in laboratories and research. Her experience includes toxicity testing with the Department of National Defence, managing the Chemical Vapour Penetration Test Facility ( Nuclear Biological Chemical test facility) at the Royal Military College of Canada, and assisting in clinical trials for photodynamic therapy research in collaboration with DUSA Pharmaceuticals. Traci was also employed with the Ontario Ministry of Health Y2K project to test various health care applications within the organization.
After moving back to Nova Scotia from Ontario, Traci began to take an interest in natural wellness therapies for herself and her family. This interest led her to seek employment in the natural health industry, where she obtained extensive knowledge and laboratory experience compounding nutritional formulations for alternative health care practitioners.
After taking some time off to care for her young family, Traci decided to continue her career in the direction of natural health therapies, and Avive Naturals was born. In addition to her role at Avive, Traci continues to further her studies in complementary therapies and is currently studying holistic nutrition at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition.
In her spare time, Traci enjoys designing websites and spending most of her time with her husband and 4 children.
